About the Acupuncture Clinic of Brookline, MA

With over thirty years of experience in both TCM and Western medicine, Guangli Xu Lic. Ac. has helped thousands of patients reach their optimum health.

Guangli Xu studied traditional Chinese medicine under Dr. Xiewen Liu and Zhinji Li’s guidance as an apprentice in Beijing, China. Following his intensive study there, he worked at Beijing Denshike Hospital as a TCM Physician. In addition to his distinguished work in TCM, Guangli Xu attended Beijing Medical College to study western medicine. Upon attaining his M.D. degree, Guangli Xu practiced both western and TCM in China.

Guangli Xu established his own clinic in Boston in 1996, and is now a licensed acupuncturist in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, certified acupuncturist in the National Acupuncturist Association and the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association. He is a board member in Oriental Traditional Medical Association in Boston. Some years ago, as a leading acupuncturist, he joined a research team at Wellesley College to study the effects of acupuncture on Alzheimer’s patients. Most recently, he joined the Commonwealth Medical Group at the Boston Medical Center as a staff acupuncturist.
